The Story

What it’s about

Kevin Hart, Kai Cenat, and Druski are doing what they do best — streaming to millions — when the night takes a hard left. A priceless vase gets broken, bodies start turning up, and the trio has to do the impossible: keep the stream going, keep the audience entertained, and make sure nobody watching realizes what’s actually happening behind the camera.

It’s horror-comedy built on the one thing all three stars know intimately: the pressure of performing live when everything is going wrong. Playing exaggerated versions of themselves, Hart, Cenat, and Druski turn a livestream gone sideways into 77 minutes of chaos.

The film shadow-dropped on Prime Video on September 30, 2026 — no long marketing campaign, just here it is. It was teased during Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 stream back in September 2025, and the whole thing traces back to the Kevin Hart sleepover stream that broke the internet.

Why it matters

The bigger picture

This is the first real movie built from the ground up around streaming culture — not a movie about streamers made by outsiders, but one starring the two biggest names in the game playing themselves. Kai Cenat is the most-watched streamer on the planet. Druski is the funniest man on the internet. Kevin Hart is the bridge between old Hollywood and the new world.

The shadow-drop release is the story too. No trailer cycle, no press tour — just the film appearing on Prime Video, the way a surprise album used to hit. It’s Amazon MGM betting that the audience will find it the same way they found the streams: somebody clips it, somebody shares it, and by morning everyone’s talking.

About this film

Vivian Cross on the film

They didn’t announce it. They didn’t trailer it. They just put a Kevin Hart–Kai Cenat–Druski horror-comedy on Prime Video and let the internet do the rest. Livestream from Hell is 77 minutes of the exact chaos you’d expect — and the smartest release strategy of the year.
