Be Happy (Commentary) Lyrics

"Be Happy"
The sample of, um, the Curtis Mayfield sample of, um, is just what blew my hair back when I heard it
And, just like a rapper, like I immediately, when I hear something that makes me feel crazy good
Immediately, I have to, I'm runnin' in the booth
I'm runnin' in the booth, I'm writing on the spot
I'm, you know, it's just happy and that's what I want it to be
I want it to be happy and that's what I said
All I really want is to be happy and to find a love that's mine
Not a man I gotta share with everybody, there
And of course, it's produced by Chucky Thompson again, givin' me the blues
But I love the blues, I love the way it makes me feel
So, yeah, that's what "Happy" is about
