Fiji Jim Lyrics

I'm gon' call up Fiji Jim, tell him to get on a plane
Tell him to bring his electric guitar
Tell him to get in the stage
Been a hell of a week, hell of a month
Been the strangest year
It's all gone by in the blink of an eye
There ain't no time for tears

Give it one last chance, one last dance
I got ice in my veins
One last chance, one last gas
We're gonna drive the crowd insane

We all call him Fiji Jim, call him Steven DeWayne
Tell him to get on bass, we're gonna bust the place
Or else, go down in flames
Already drunk four cases of wine
Snorted an ounce of cocaine
Grab a keg of beer, bring it over here
A six-pack or champagne

Yeah, one last chance, one last gas
We got skin in the game
One last chance, one last dance
Gonna drive the crowd insane

Yeah, the drums, they snap, that thunderclap
The bass drum mash on the floor
The guitar scream in a fever dream, like I never heard before
Pray superstition, that's our ammunition
We're out of cigarettes
There's no intermission, no air condition
Our clothes are soaking wet

We gon' call up Fiji Jim, tell him to get on a plane
Tell him to bring his wah-wah pedal
Drive the crowd insane
Well, he bust two ribs and he bruised his limbs
He took some pills for the pain
He got shakin' legs and his nose is bled
But man, he sure could play
Oh, I can see you in the 40th row, trying so hard to impress
You took off your dress, and I'm way out of breath
Carry me off this stage

Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
Come on, Fiji Jim
