MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2026 — The Jokers are back on your couch. Season 13 of Impractical Jokers — the season that premiered July 23 on TBS — is now streaming in full on HBO Max, all seven episodes ready to binge. If you've been catching it week to week on cable, now's your chance to run it back. If you missed it entirely, well — the guys have been waiting for you.
The season opened with "Meal, Interrupted," which threw Sal, Q, and Murr into a broken-down car bit and a funeral home sketch with comedian Adam Ray — a strong signal that the show has no intention of dialing it back. One Joker couldn't sit at the table. Another had to clear it. You know the drill.
Fifteen years of saying "no" in public
It's worth pausing on what this show actually is at this point. Impractical Jokers premiered in December 2011. Thirteen seasons and roughly 290 episodes later, it's one of the longest-running hidden-camera series in television history — built on a premise so simple it shouldn't work: four lifelong friends from Staten Island dare each other to do humiliating things in front of strangers, and whoever refuses the most gets punished.
It works because the chemistry is real. Sal Vulcano, Brian "Q" Quinn, and James "Murr" Murray have known each other since high school. That history is the whole engine — every bit lands harder because you can tell these guys genuinely enjoy watching each other squirm.
The trio era
The show's biggest change came in December 2021, when Joe Gatto stepped away after nine seasons to focus on his family. Rather than recast, the show did something smarter: Sal, Q, and Murr continued as a trio, and starting with Season 10, the fourth chair has been filled by a rotating lineup of celebrity guests.
That format is now older than the original four-man version was when Joe left — and honestly, it's found its own rhythm. The guest slot keeps things unpredictable, and the core trio's dynamic has only tightened.
Where to watch
Here's the lay of the land: first-run episodes air on TBS, which took over from truTV (the show's home for its first nine seasons). The full streaming catalog lives on HBO Max — roughly 290 episodes and 45 specials across all 13 seasons. Hulu also carries the series. Reruns still air on truTV, right alongside the sports programming.
So if you've got HBO Max, Season 13 is sitting there waiting. Seven episodes. Zero excuses. The Jokers did the embarrassing part — all you have to do is press play.
