LAS VEGAS — LISA is doubling down on Las Vegas. The BLACKPINK star has added two dates to Viva La LISA, her first Las Vegas residency, expanding the run from four shows to six at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace after the original dates sold out in under 10 minutes, according to Hypebeast and Contactmusic.
The new dates reshape the run without adding a third weekend. A Thursday, November 12 show now opens the first block, and a Sunday, November 29 performance closes the second — so the final schedule runs in two three-night blocks: November 12 through 14, then November 27 through 29. General on-sale for the full run opened September 30 via Ticketmaster.
That sub-10-minute sellout is the detail that matters. The Colosseum's room, the same stage that turned Celine Dion's two residencies into the defining Vegas franchise of the 2000s and 2010s, does not clear in minutes on hope alone. The expansion is billed, per Hypebeast, as the first residency by a K-pop artist in Las Vegas — a genuine format milestone for a genre that has sold out arenas worldwide for a decade but had never claimed the Strip's resident headliner format until now.

A fall stacked with momentum
The residency lands in the middle of the busiest stretch of LISA's solo career. Her newest single, "SaWaDiKa," arrived with a music video shot in her hometown of Bangkok, and the clip passed 70.8 million views within its first 24 hours, per Hypebeast. The track is the lead release from PRESS PLAY, her upcoming EP due October 23 — just weeks before the Colosseum run begins.
She gave the song its first televised performance at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, where she also won Best Pop — billed as the first win in that category by a K-pop artist, according to Hypebeast and Contactmusic. For a residency built on spectacle, that timing is close to ideal: by the time the November 12 opener arrives, the EP will have had three weeks to settle into fan setlist demands, and the VMAs moment will still be fresh in the touring conversation.

The room and the milestone
The Colosseum is not just any Vegas showroom. Since opening in 2003 with Celine Dion's A New Day... — a run that grossed more than $385 million across five years — the 4,300-seat venue has defined what a Strip residency means: a fixed home, a production built to fit it, and an audience that comes to the artist rather than the other way around. Elton John, Cher, Rod Stewart, Adele and Jerry Seinfeld have all held court there, per the venue's documented history.
LISA's claim on the room carries a different weight. K-pop has played Las Vegas before — BLACKPINK and BTS have sold out stadium-scale shows on tours that passed through the city — but the residency format is something else. It asks the artist to be the destination rather than the passing spectacle, and it asks Vegas to show up twice: once in November for the K-pop diaspora and Gen-Z fan base, and once for the Strip's traditional residency audience. Six nights at The Colosseum answers both.
K-pop's Vegas footprint until now has been built on the touring circuit, not residencies. BTS's four sold-out Allegiant Stadium shows in April 2022 remain the genre's signature Sin City moment — a destination takeover that drew fans from around the world to the Strip's doorstep. LISA's residency inverts that logic: instead of bringing Vegas to the K-pop audience for one weekend, it brings the K-pop audience to Vegas across two of them, with a showroom production built to live in one room rather than survive a tour bus.
The calendar from here is a sprint. Always Lalisa reaches cinemas worldwide on October 12; the PRESS PLAY EP arrives October 23, giving the new material three weeks of life before the November 12 opener; and then the Colosseum doors open on a residency that was announced as a milestone and is now — six nights deep, selling in minutes — starting to look like a habit. Her neighbors on the entertainment calendar are living proof of how aggressive this city's residency economy has become: Metallica just opened a 24-show run at Sphere that stretches into March 2027.

'Always Lalisa' and the big screen
Outside music, her feature documentary Always Lalisa — directed by Sue Kim — premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and opens in cinemas worldwide on October 12, per Contactmusic. That gives fans a second big-screen LISA moment roughly a month before the residency opens, and it frames the November shows as the live chapter of a fall that has played out across every medium: single, EP, awards stage, cinema, and now a Strip showroom. She has also announced a Meta Glasses by LISA collaboration, talking to Hypebeast about the design specifics.

The practical notes: general on-sale for the full six-night run opened September 30 via Ticketmaster, per both reports. With the first four nights gone in minutes, the new November 12 and November 29 dates are the clearest remaining path in — and if the first sellout pace is any guide, they will not last long either.
Vegas keeps stacking the calendar — from rock residencies at Sphere to festival season — and our live desk is tracking every addition as the fall season fills in.
