LAS VEGAS — Four matchdays are in the books, the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League table is starting to take real shape, and now the competition does something cruel: it makes you wait. There are no Nations League fixtures for five full weeks. The next time Europe’s national teams play in this tournament, it is Friday, November 13 — and from there it is five straight days, 44 games, and the end of the group stage. This is the window that decides who reaches the quarterfinals in the spring and who gets dragged into the relegation playoffs.
And unlike some previews you may have seen floating around, the schedule below is the real one — every fixture verified against the official match list this week, dates and kickoff times included. Bookmark it. You will need it in November.
The Sunday everybody will talk about
Circle Sunday, November 15. England travel to Spain for a 12:45 PM PT kickoff, and it is the single best fixture of the entire league phase. Harry Kane walks into it in frightening form: his brace (40′, 57′) powered England’s 3-0 win over Czechia at Wembley on October 6, the kind of center-forward performance that makes a whole stadium exhale. Spain answered the same night in Split, where Mikel Merino struck in the 61st and 88th minutes to complete a comeback win over 10-man Croatia. So this is not some friendly with rotated squads and experimental shapes. This is the two most in-form attacks in the competition meeting with the group on the line.

Sunday is not a one-game day, either. Italy travel to Belgium, Türkiye travel to France, and Czechia host Croatia — all at the same 12:45 PM PT kickoff. Italy closed the October slate by beating Türkiye 3-1 in Bologna, and their reward is a trip to face a Belgium side that does not lose at home quietly. Türkiye, stung by that Bologna night, have to walk into France. And Croatia — still smarting from the Merino double in Split — get Czechia at home with a point to prove. Set four alarms. Order food. This is the afternoon the window is built around.
Germany’s double shift
Germany get the window’s most demanding two-game stretch. They open on Friday, November 13 at Serbia (12:45 PM PT), a genuine road test against a physical side that treats home internationals like cup finals, then come home to host the Netherlands on Monday, November 16 (12:45 PM PT). The Dutch, for their part, start the window on Friday by hosting Greece. So by the time Germany and the Netherlands meet on Monday night, both will have played once in five days and neither will have anything left to hide. That is a proper rivalry game with fresh legs and full stakes — the kind of Monday that makes the whole weekend feel like a warm-up act.
Ronaldo’s Portugal, twice
Cristiano Ronaldo’s international future remains the open question hanging over Portugal — the door left entirely in his hands, as Previously reported — and the November window gives him two more stages either way. Portugal host Denmark on Saturday, November 14 (12:45 PM PT), then travel to Wales on Tuesday, November 17 (12:45 PM PT). Denmark will not care about the sideshow; they will see a Portugal side in transition as an opportunity. And Wales at home on the final night of the group stage, with everything decided in 90 minutes, is exactly the kind of fixture that has ended tournaments for bigger teams than Portugal.
Haaland’s Norway, twice
Norway’s window is a mirror image of Portugal’s, and it might be even spicier. Erling Haaland’s side host Wales on Saturday, November 14 (10:00 AM PT), then travel to Denmark on Tuesday, November 17 (12:45 PM PT). Read that again: Norway play Wales, then Wales play Portugal, then Norway play Denmark, then Denmark played Portugal. These four teams are tangled together across the final two matchdays, and somebody’s November is ending in tears. When Haaland has two games in four days with a group to win, he tends to treat both like personal errands.
The knife fights below the marquee
The famous names get the headlines, but the Nations League’s cruelest math happens further down the fixture list. Somebody is getting relegated in every group, and the November window is where the trap doors open. Malta travel to Gibraltar on Monday, November 16. Azerbaijan visit Liechtenstein on Friday, November 13. San Marino — yes, that San Marino — travel to Finland on Sunday, November 15. These are the games nobody puts on the poster and everybody in those camps circles in red. Win, and you breathe. Lose, and you spend the next two years explaining it.
Do not sleep on the Friday openers, either: Greece at the Netherlands and North Macedonia at Scotland kick the whole window off at 12:45 PM PT on November 13, and Switzerland at Slovenia the same afternoon is exactly the kind of tidy, tactical, horrible-to-play-against fixture that decides groups while everyone is watching the big screens.
