73,538 Strong: Zach Bryan Just Set the All-Time Attendance Record at Gillette Stadium

Zach Bryan keeps outdoing himself. On Saturday night, the Oklahoma singer played to 73,538 fans at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts — the largest crowd for any event in the venue's history, according to the tour's promoter AEG.

It was the second of two nights at the stadium, part of Bryan's With Heaven On Tour — his biggest run yet, spanning more than 40 dates across North America and Europe and starting back in March 2026. The tour follows a 2025 stadium run that included three shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and a performance at Notre Dame Stadium.

If the Foxborough record feels familiar, that's because Bryan is now collecting venue records like tour dates. On September 27, 2025, he became the first artist ever to play Michigan Stadium, drawing 112,408 fans — the largest ticketed concert audience in U.S. history. That show surpassed the previous mark of 110,905 set by George Strait in Texas in 2024, and also set a single-night merchandise sales record of $5 million.

The speed of the rise is still the remarkable part. Bryan started by posting self-recorded songs to YouTube while serving in the U.S. Navy; "Heading South" broke him out to a much bigger audience. He released the independent albums DeAnn in 2019 and Elisabeth in 2020 before the commercial run: American Heartbreak, the self-titled Zach Bryan (his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200), and "I Remember Everything" with Kacey Musgraves, which won the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. His sixth studio album, With Heaven on Top, arrived January 9, 2026, and became his second Billboard 200 No. 1.

What the Gillette record really measures is country music's full arrival as stadium music. Bryan didn't come up through the traditional Nashville machine — his rise was fan-driven, streaming-driven and lyric-driven — and now he's out-drawing every act that's ever played one of the NFL's flagship buildings. With the European leg of the tour still ahead, Foxborough's record may not be the last one he takes.
