Where They Stand
Chicago has flipped the switch toward youth. After a 31-51 season that finished 12th in the East, the Bulls enter the first full season of head coach Tiago Splitter and lead executive Bryson Graham with a 21-man camp built around No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson, Matas Buzelis and Josh Giddey — plus All-Star wing Norman Powell and center Nic Claxton, acquired in the offseason’s Nets deal.
Wilson, who dropped 35 points with seven threes in a Summer League showcase, is the name the entire rebuild hinges on, with Dailyn Swain, Rob Dillingham and Noa Essengue rounding out a crowded young rotation. Camp runs September 29 through October 4 at the Advocate Center, the five-game preseason opens October 7 against Phoenix at the United Center, and the regular season starts October 21 in Toronto.
