About this game

A sci-fi side-scrolling action game for the PC Engine. It was based on a PC-88 game called Ashe.

Ashe is a side-view shooter with some platforming elements. A powerful earthquake in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo released waves of horrifying monsters that had been hiding within the depths of Earth. The city was destroyed, and only a few humans survived. A team of fighters was assembled in an underground complex and sent to fight the monsters on the surface. One of these fighters was imbued with special psionic powers and was entrusted with a mission of utmost importance.
