In The Black Heart (original title - Das schwarze Herz) the player takes on the role of Cavalorn, a character familiar from Gothic I & II. Vatras tasks Cavalorn with delivering a powerful artifact, along with his brother from the Ring of Water, to a powerful water mage named Aguas on the remote island Topas. We play as Cavalorn, tasked with destroying the Claw of Beliar. The task isn't easy, hindered not only by the king's distrustful soldiers on the island of Topas, but also by the weapon's heart, which is determined to capture its owner's soul. Will you be up to the difficult task of destroying the heart?
