A respectable 76 average that never found its audience. Fighting game fundamentals, done right. Sometimes that's plenty. Come for the campaign, stay because your friends won't let you leave the lobby.

About this game

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition enhances the bold new franchise to the fighting game genre from NetherRealm Studios. Featuring six new playable characters, over 30 new skins, and 60 new S.T.A.R. Labs missions, this edition packs a punch. In addition to DC Comics icons such as Batman, The Joker, Green Lantern, The Flash, Superman and Wonder Woman, the latest title from the award-winning studio presents a deep original story. Heroes and villains will engage in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is set in an alternate reality. The Joker has tricked Superman into killing Lois Lane and the couple's unborn child, all while destroying Metropolis. Overcome with grief and anger, Superman takes revenge against the Joker, killing him in front of Batman. Even after confronting his tormentor, Superman cannot overcome the guilt of what he was made to do. He soon seizes control of various nations across the planet and establishes a new world order as the High Councillor, all in the name of achieving world peace. The heroes of the earth are left with a choice: join Superman's Regime or ally with Batman's Insurgency. A war erupts between the two forces, one that threatens the very survival of mankind.
