About this game

Lost Patrol is a survival action role-playing game with strategy elements. In this classic multi-genre DOS game, players take command of the seven survivors of a U.S. helicopter crash in Vietnam, desperately trekking across 57 miles of harsh terrain infested with booby traps and enemy soldiers.

The game follows a platoon stranded behind enemy lines after its helicopter is shot down during a mission. With the pilot killed in the crash, the surviving soldiers must make their way back to friendly territory through jungles, rice fields, and hostile settlements. Along the route, they face ambushes, guerrilla forces, and the constant threat of enemy-controlled villages disguised as safe locations. Tension within the group also grows as the squad leader begins to suspect that one of the soldiers is psychologically unstable, creating additional pressure on morale and survival.
