About this game

Omikron 2 Exodus was meant to be the planned sequel to the 1999 sci-fi action adventure game, Omikron: The Nomad Soul for PS2 and Dreamcast. The title was later changed to “Omikron 2 Karma” and the development was moved to XBOX 360 and PS3. By January 2000, a sequel was in the early stages of development, then scheduled to be released by 2001. After the release of Fahrenheit, the project was still in discussion, but ultimately scrapped in favor of Heavy Rain.

Nomad Soul Exodus starts 200 cycles later. Omikron has been transfigured by technology, a high city has been built above the ancient one, the network is omnipresent and anti-gravitational technology has made tremendous advances leading to the development of flying vehicles. The Techno Religion, the official religion, has a major role in this new society. It preaches fusion of man and machine to free Mankind from its physical limits. Its main goal is to process The Great Migration: the global transfer of mankind to the network.
