The arrival of rowdy tourists disrupts the serenity of a group of tropical islands home to the meticulous ecologists Pirate Sisters. As the ambition of the castaways agitates the ecosystem, it's up to its self-proclaimed protectors to take matters into their own hands and restore their home.

Outlanders is a charming town-builder simulation game that lets you play as the leader of a group of regular people building a town together. Some want to survive, while others want to build amazing things. It’s up to you to guide them towards their goal. Take control of the will of a town leader and balance your resources carefully to lead the town to prosperity. Every choice you make directly affects the progress of your town and has an impact on the happiness of your followers.

Outlanders are individuals. Simple folk with hopes, dreams, and desires. You cannot control them directly. Instead, you place buildings, manage resources and declare the number of work spots in each building, then watch the Outlanders themselves decide who takes which job, which house they inhabit, and which building to build. You can nudge them in the right direction by prioritizing certain tasks, or by passing Decrees, which bend the rules of the game to allow things like longer work hours and tighter resource consumption. But beware… these often come at the expense of your follower’s happiness, so use them wisely.
