Pale Incense is a first-person gothic action-simulation where you run a perfume shop by day and hunt as a vampire by night. Harvest scents and human essence from your victims, evade hunters, and craft the healing incense that may save Johanna—the wife your failed transformation left dying.

Edmund is a vampire and perfumer determined to keep his dying wife, Johanna, alive. By day, he runs a perfume shop, concealing the origins of his fragrances from his customers. By night, he hunts through the city, harvesting human essences to craft perfumes and the incense that sustains Johanna. With vampire hunters threatening his secret, Edmund must maintain his respectable facade while continuing the killings his wife's survival depends on. His devotion to Johanna binds him to a life in which preserving the person he loves means sacrificing others.
