Into Oblivion is the first major update that Star of Providence received after it was renamed from Monolith, and the first major update released with Bigmode as the game's producer. Its release also corresponds with the game's launch on the Nintendo Switch.

Star of Providence is a consolidated version of Monolith that integrates the DLC, Relics of the Past, into the base game. Star of Providence is a top down action shooter with procedurally generated elements. Explore a progression of floors as you make your way into the depths of the facility, encountering increasingly deadly enemies, fantastic weapons, upgrades, choices and revelations as you venture deeper towards a great and calamitous power.
