A respectable 77 average that never found its audience. An adventure game leaning hard into fantasy — more about the journey than the destination. Solo only, and better for it — this is a one-player experience through and through.

About this game

The Unfinished Swan is a game about exploring the unknown. The player is a young boy chasing after a swan who has wandered off into a surreal, unfinished kingdom. The game begins in a completely white space where players can throw paint to splatter their surroundings and reveal the world around them.

Monroe is a young boy whose mother, a painter, has recently passed away, leaving behind hundreds of unfinished works. Allowed to keep only one, he chooses her favorite, a picture of a swan without its neck. One night the swan slips out of the canvas, and Monroe follows it into a strange, entirely white painted world. Armed with his mother's magical paintbrush, he splashes his surroundings into view as he chases the swan and uncovers the remains of a forgotten kingdom.
