"Lex Imperialis" is the second story expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, featuring 15 hours of compelling gameplay, a new companion, Familiars, and an entirely new faction: the Adeptus Arbites.

You will take on the role of a Rogue Trader, a scion of an ancient dynasty of daring privateers, that reign over their own merchant empire and explore the fringes of Imperial space with the blessing of the Emperor Himself. Thanks to their Warrant of Trade - the Rogue Trader is endowed with privileges and power beyond imagination as well as the task of expanding the borders of the Imperium. At their disposal is a gargantuan voidship of immense power and innumerable servants and personnel ready to do the bidding of their lord. Their adventures begin in the vast Koronus Expanse - a treacherous region of unexplored space at the edge of Humanity’s domain.

Set in the grim, war-torn far future of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Rogue Trader is an isometric role-playing game that unfolds in the Koronus Expanse, a vast and largely uncharted region of space reachable from the vast human Imperium only through a treacherous passage. The player takes on the mantle of a Rogue Trader, a member of a rare and powerful aristocratic caste granted sweeping authority to explore, trade, and conquer in the name of Mankind and its God-Emperor. Newly revealed as heir to the venerable Von Valancius dynasty, one of the oldest Rogue Trader lineages still surviving, the protagonist inherits a starship, a retinue of loyal servants, and dominion over a fledgling stellar empire. Surrounded by devoted followers, dangerous outcasts, and alien xenos alike, the Rogue Trader must chart a course through this lawless frontier, making weighty decisions, whether pious, rebellious, or damning, that shape the fate of countless worlds.
