What DesignerCon Actually Is
If sneaker culture and the gallery world had a convention, this is it. DesignerCon is the country's biggest designer-toy and collectibles show: limited vinyl figures, resin art, blind boxes, prints, pins, apparel — made in small runs by named artists, sold face to face at their booths, and gone when they're gone. The 2026 edition is the show's 21st anniversary and its third year in Las Vegas, produced by the owners of 3DRetro: over 350 artists, more than 700 vendors, and 30,000 fans across 300,000-plus square feet at The Expo at World Market Center. MEDICOM TOY is celebrating its 30th anniversary on this floor. Ultraman turns 60 here. Kamen Rider's TOEI ART FES makes DesignerCon its only U.S. stop. And the badges themselves are collectible art this year, designed by Vandy The Pink — the streetwear-and-sneaker world walking straight into the toy world, which is exactly where this show lives.
The Drop, Explained Honestly
Forget everything raffle culture taught you. DesignerCon publishes no show-wide lottery, no wristband system, no central drop mechanic for 2026 — and any guide that tells you otherwise is guessing. Exclusives are booth by booth: each artist or label sells its own limited pieces at its own booth, in quantities the artist sets, and some vendors hold their exclusives back until show day.
So the real mechanic is time and tier, and the founder says it plainly: founder and CEO Ben Goretsky told The Pop Insider that the hottest exclusives sell out on Friday preview night — some aren't even displayed after the first hour or two. His advice to hunters is the whole strategy in one sentence: ask how many the artist has available.
The windows, in order:
- Friday, 5–9 p.m. — VIP Preview Night. The drop window. First shot at everything.
- Saturday, 9 a.m. — VIP early entry. One hour before the doors, second shot at what survived Friday.
- Saturday, 10 a.m. — general admission. Third window. The grails are gone; the floor is still deep.
- From the couch — PalmStreet. Participating brands livestream exclusive drops during the show on the PalmStreet app. It's the only official way to buy a drop without being at the booth.
What's Already Confirmed
The official exclusives list is still growing — the organizers say check back often — but pieces with names and prices are already on the board:
- How2Work's Labubu Vijftien — $250. The Labubu machine does not slow down, and this is the confirmed ticket.
- Scott Tolleson's Lotus Dragon — $65 (PalmStreet). A resin blind box with 25 hand-embellished one-of-one chases hiding in the run — the chase math is the culture.
- Ultraman Belial card — $60 (Tsuburaya), part of the Ultraman 60th program.
- Announced, prices still to come: MEDICOM TOY's 30th-anniversary exclusives (pieces otherwise only in Japan), Kamen Rider ultra-limited figures from top Japanese creators, CarTuned's two exclusives plus its new Lowriders die-cast series — car culture entering the toy floor — and confirmed exclusives from Ron English, Louis De Guzman and Matt Gondek.
Names to hunt on the floor map: Vandy The Pink, Ron English, Scott Tolleson, Louis De Guzman, Matt Gondek, tokidoki, Mondo, MISHKA, Punk Drunkers, How2Work, Rokimoto, PureArts, plus Jeff Staple's Archive — streetwear history as an exhibit — Secret Walls painting live all weekend, and the new Fear & Loathing Arts Section built with Flatstock.

The Ticket Is a Strategy
- Single day, $45. Weekend, $80. VIP, $150. Kids 12 and under are free with a paid adult pass.
- VIP buys you the Friday night window, Saturday's 9 a.m. entry, VIP-only limited merch, panel seating, the lounge — and a tokidoki VIP bag carrying an exclusive 100% BE@RBRICK. If you are hunting a named exclusive, the $150 is not a luxury tier; it's the only tier that gets you to the booth while the piece still exists. If you're walking the floor for the art, the weekend pass is the honest buy.
- Buy official. Resale listings are already running well above face — the organizers expect a sellout.
Work the Floor Like a Collector
- Print your hit list. The organizers' own advice: bring your tickets printed and a printout of your must-see vendors, and mark them on the official floor map before you walk in. Bring a Sharpie and a sketchbook — signings are part of the floor's economy.
- Play the Quest. The free Collect N Connect app runs the DesignerCon Quest: passport stamps at participating booths, daily podiums, a weekend champion crowned Sunday. Low effort, real prizes, and it forces you past booths you'd have missed.
- Saturday night, keep going. The official after-party runs Saturday at Hakkasan with OHGEESY (21+). The collector crowd's own room is The Broke Piggy Games the same evening at MEET Las Vegas — capped at 300, food, a grab bag built around a Scott Tolleson × Artiqfox collab, one raffle ticket in. The closing party lands Sunday night at TAO with DJ Franzen.
One last thing, from the founder himself: don't get so caught up chasing the hype pieces that you never walk the floor. The artists are standing right there. Talk to them. That's the part of DesignerCon no resale listing can sell you.
