Jack & Jack Announce 2027 U.S. Tour Behind Two-Sided Album 'SYN/ANTI'

Pop-rap duo Jack & Jack — Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky — announced a 2027 U.S. tour on October 20 supporting SYN/ANTI, the two-sided album released last week, antiMusic and BroadwayWorld reported. Artist presale opens Thursday, October 22 at 10 a.m. ET; public onsale is Friday, October 23.

The Short Version

Jack & Jack are taking their two-sided album on the road. The pop-rap duo — Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky — announced a 2027 U.S. tour on October 20 in support of SYN/ANTI, the two-sided album they released last week, antiMusic and BroadwayWorld reported. The tour announcement comes with an unusually fast on-sale: the artist presale begins Thursday, October 22 at 10 a.m. ET and runs until Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. local time, and the public onsale follows on Friday, October 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets and information are at jackandjackofficial.com/tour.

The album the tour supports is built on a split. According to both reports, SYN is the sunnier, more playful side of the project, while ANTI explores a moodier, soulful R&B sensibility. Together, the two sides embrace the inherent dichotomy in Jack & Jack’s music and personalities — a duo that has always contained both a pop act and something more introspective, now formally separated into two halves of one release. BroadwayWorld’s earlier coverage of the album added the wordplay underneath the title: “syn” is the Greek prefix meaning “together,” and “anti” means “against” — rather than choosing between the two, the duo embraces both as essential parts of who they are.

“Very hands-on, very DIY”

The quote anchoring the campaign belongs to Johnson. “We’re the most authentic versions of ourselves that we’ve ever been,” he said, as quoted by both antiMusic and BroadwayWorld. “It feels like the early days of our music creation; very hands-on, very DIY.” That framing is doing specific work. Jack & Jack first built their audience as teenagers creating for the internet, and the SYN/ANTI campaign is explicitly a return to that posture — the reports describe the album as reflecting the creative freedom of the duo’s return to independence, moving between infectious pop-rap, introspective R&B, nostalgia, relationships, friendship, and the complicated process of growing up.

The method matches the message. The album’s two sides grew out of three intensive writing and recording camps held in secluded Southern California settings, where Johnson and Gilinsky worked alongside a small circle of trusted collaborators, according to both reports. The resulting 24 songs are the product of those camps. Twenty-four songs is a lot of material for a pop-rap release, and splitting it into two named halves is how the duo keeps the volume coherent: SYN carries the bright, playful register, ANTI carries the moodier R&B one, and listeners can enter through whichever side fits. Both reports close the album’s story the same way — as a celebration of the chemistry that has carried Jack & Jack from childhood friendship to global success, and back to creating music simply because they love doing it together.

SYMBIOSIS, and the Vault

The physical strategy is the other half of the announcement, and it explains the tour connection. SYMBIOSIS is the physical-only version combining both sides of the album, and it will also be available at all shows on the tour, antiMusic and BroadwayWorld reported. In a streaming era, a physical-only combined edition is a deliberate scarcity play — the complete version of the record, in one object, exists only as something you buy in person or order as a physical product, and the tour stops become its retail network.

The collecting layer extends further. Through their Symbiosis Vault app, fans have already been collecting limited-edition photo trading cards tied to the album campaign, including studio shots, selfies from the duo, and ultra-rare, autographed Polaroids, according to both reports. BroadwayWorld’s album coverage described three levels of rarity for the cards, with each card carrying an embedded NFC chip that unlocks further digital content, and early access to singles delivered through the Vault app. The design is consistent end to end: the campaign rewards the fans who show up — in the app, at the merch table, and now, with the 2027 dates, in the room.

The on-sale clock

For fans, the practical facts are the ones to act on this week, and the window is short. Presale opens at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, October 22 and closes the next morning, Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local time; general sale begins later that same Friday, also at 10 a.m. local. Tickets and further information are available at jackandjackofficial.com/tour, per BroadwayWorld. The 2027 U.S. tour follows the album’s European leg, which BroadwayWorld’s earlier coverage placed as beginning in November 2026, with U.S. dates in spring 2027 — so American fans are getting the second, larger pass of a campaign that starts in Europe this fall.

The U.S. dates

BroadwayWorld published the full U.S. routing with the announcement. The tour opens March 2, 2027 in San Diego at the Voodoo Room at House of Blues, then plays Sacramento (March 3, Harlow’s), Phoenix (March 5, The Rebel Lounge), Houston (March 7, White Oak Music Hall Upstairs) and Austin (March 8, Antone’s). It continues through Tampa (March 10, New World Music Hall), Orlando (March 11, The Abbey), Nashville (March 13, Row One Stage at Cannery Hall), Atlanta (March 14, The Masquerade Purgatory) and Charlotte (March 15, The Underground), then Philadelphia (March 17, The Foundry), New York (March 18, Sony Hall) and Boston (March 19, Brighton Music Hall).

The second half of the routing runs through Columbus (March 21, Skully’s), Cleveland (March 22, Cambridge Room at House of Blues), Indianapolis (March 25, Turntable), Ferndale (March 26, Loving Touch), Chicago (March 27, Bottom Lounge), Milwaukee (March 30, The Argo) and Minneapolis (March 31, 7th St Entry) — a fitting stop for a duo with Midwestern roots — before Omaha (April 1, The Waiting Room), St. Louis (April 3, Old Rock House), Lawrence (April 4, Bottleneck), Denver (April 6, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox), Salt Lake City (April 8, Kilby Court), Seattle (April 10, Bottlerocket Social Hall), Portland (April 11, Holocene), San Francisco (April 13, Cafe Du Nord) and a closing night in Los Angeles (April 15, Teragram Ballroom). The rooms are notably intimate for an arena-era pop act, which fits the campaign’s stated return to hands-on, DIY roots.

What the announcement establishes, beyond the routing, is the shape of the era around those dates: a 24-song, two-sided album made independently in three Southern California camps, a physical-only combined edition sold at the shows, a trading-card ecosystem running through the Symbiosis Vault app, and a duo describing itself, in Johnson’s words, as the most authentic version of itself it has ever been. The 2027 U.S. tour is where all of that gets tested live. Follow the story in Previously’s Music section.
