A Vegas Week for LV Petroleum: Bojangles Opens at the LINQ, a New Headquarters, and Travel Center No. 95

The Las Vegas operator opened a Bojangles with a full bar and live entertainment at the LINQ, cut the ribbon on a Southern Nevada headquarters with a training and culinary innovation center, and acquired its 95th travel center in Lowell, Arkansas.

The Short Version

Most Las Vegas growth stories run in one direction: a national brand arrives, plants a flag on the Strip and starts counting visitors. LV Petroleum's October ran the other way. In the space of about two weeks, the Las Vegas-based operator opened a Bojangles at the LINQ Promenade built to be an evening destination rather than a quick stop, cut the ribbon on a new Southern Nevada headquarters with a training and culinary innovation center inside it, and — according to the company's announcement carried by PR Newswire — acquired its 95th travel center, this one in Lowell, Arkansas. It is a hometown company using the Strip as a showcase and the highway map as its growth chart.

The sequence matters because each piece feeds the others. The headquarters houses the training operation that staffs the restaurants. The LINQ restaurant is the most visible version of the food brands the company runs at travel centers across the country. And the Lowell acquisition, completed September 23, extends the travel-center network the whole model rests on — now at 95 locations, with the company itself framing the count as a road to one hundred. Taken together, the three milestones describe a business founded in Las Vegas in 2014 that now operates, per its own company profile in the release, more than 95 travel centers, 30 convenience stores and over 38 franchise brands.

A Bojangles Built for the Evening

The LINQ location is the headline act. It hosted a press tasting on October 5 and opened to the public on October 7, pairing the chain's chicken-and-biscuits menu with a full bar and live entertainment. Las Vegas Newsroom, in its independent account of the opening, reported the restaurant welcomed its first guests at 5 a.m. on October 7 at 3545 S. Las Vegas Blvd. in the LINQ Promenade near Flamingo Road, and described it as the first Bojangles in the country to offer a full-service bar, with a stage for live music, a covered patio and televisions throughout the space.

That design is the point. A Strip promenade does not reward a restaurant that only serves a meal; it rewards a place people can settle into. Jeanette Davis of LV Petroleum told PR Newswire the team wanted guests to enjoy the food they love and make an evening of it, with the bar and entertainment adding more of the Las Vegas experience to the visit. In Las Vegas Newsroom's account, Davis — identified there as the company's senior vice president — said the team was ecstatic about adding another Bojangles to the Strip and bringing the brand's Southern character to this location.

The LINQ opening did not arrive out of nowhere. Las Vegas Newsroom traced the local run back to January 2025, when Bojangles made its valley debut on South Rainbow Boulevard near Blue Diamond Road, followed by locations on South Decatur Boulevard, in Henderson and at Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue — all under a 20-restaurant development agreement for the Las Vegas area. The LINQ restaurant is described as the second Bojangles on the Strip itself, and it opened with a piece of Strip-appropriate theater: grand-opening guests could roll a custom Bojangles die for a chance to win free food. The chain behind it, founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1977, built its name on hand-breaded chicken, made-from-scratch biscuits and its signature iced tea — a Southern formula now being served, at this address, alongside a full bar.

A Headquarters That Trains and Cooks

A day before the Bojangles opened its doors, the company was cutting a ribbon. On October 6, LV Petroleum celebrated its new Southern Nevada headquarters, joined by representatives from the Las Vegas Chamber and the commissioners' office, according to the PR Newswire announcement. The building is more than office space: it houses a training and culinary innovation center meant to support employee development and the company's food-service operations — the kitchen lab, in effect, for a portfolio that runs dozens of restaurant brands — plus a Starbucks that will be open to the public.

That combination says something about how the company sees itself. A training center is infrastructure for a workforce pipeline; a culinary innovation center is where menus get tested before they land in travel centers and Strip restaurants alike; and a public-facing Starbucks turns a corporate headquarters into a neighborhood amenity. Kris Roach, the company's president and CEO, framed the headquarters in community terms in the announcement, pointing to the company's support for local organizations including The DREAM Program, The Injured Police Officers Fund, Three Square and Nathan Adelson Hospice, and describing LV Petroleum as a local, family-owned business contributing to Southern Nevada's reputation for service.

Stop 95: Lowell, Arkansas

The third milestone sits more than a thousand miles from the Strip. On September 23, LV Petroleum acquired a travel center in Lowell, Arkansas — its 95th location. The plans announced for the site read like the company's whole playbook in miniature: a Jimmy John's, a full-service diner and a bakery and sweets counter, adding dining options for travelers and the surrounding community. It is the same formula visible at the LINQ — familiar national brands, layered food options, a reason to stay longer than a fuel stop — translated from a Strip promenade to an Arkansas highway exit.

The company profile published with the announcement fills in the scale behind that formula. Founded in 2014 by Guy Madmon and Val Amiel and headquartered in Las Vegas, LV Petroleum operates TravelCenters of America locations alongside its convenience stores, and runs franchise brands including Arby's, Bojangles, Dunkin' and Starbucks among its 38-plus brands. The Lowell deal puts the travel-center count at 95, five short of a hundred — a milestone the company is plainly counting toward, on what it calls the road to one hundred.

What It Adds Up To

For Las Vegas, the week's news is less about any single opening than about direction of travel. The Strip usually imports concepts; here, a Las Vegas operator is using a Strip address to sharpen brands it deploys nationally, training its people in a new Southern Nevada headquarters, and exporting the model to places like Lowell. The Bojangles at the LINQ will be judged the way every Strip restaurant is judged — by whether the room stays full after the novelty fades — but the bar, the stage and the patio suggest a company that understands its home market's basic rule: dinner should be an evening.
