New Music Friday: Pitbull’s ‘Pitcoin’ and Troye Sivan’s ‘She’s the Best’ Lead a Stacked October 9

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026 — It’s New Music Friday, and this one is loaded. The week’s release calendar — cross-checked against the music press — brings twelve verified drops: eight albums and four singles spanning hip-hop, pop, rock, country and dance. Mr. Worldwide goes maximalist, Troye Sivan goes for the jugular, and the undercard is as strong as the headliners. Here’s what’s out today and worth your weekend.

01 The big one

Pitbull’s ‘Pitcoin’ is the story of the week — his 14th studio album, 24 tracks deep, out today via his own Mr. 305 Records and stacked with the most star-dense guest list of his career. We broke the whole thing down separately: the KISS opener, the Bon Jovi team-up, the meme-coin head fake that moved crypto markets in August. Read the full ‘Pitcoin’ breakdown.
