Tate McRae Debuts 'Housewife' Live as Four Acts Take Over the Victoria's Secret Runway

Megan Moroney opened, Tate McRae premiered her new single, KATSEYE hit the Pink section and Megan Thee Stallion closed in silver wings as the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show returned to Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The Short Version

The wings were back in Los Angeles, and this year the soundtrack belonged entirely to women. The 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show took over Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City on Sunday night with an all-female musical lineup of four acts — Megan Moroney, Tate McRae, KATSEYE and Megan Thee Stallion — performing between runway walks from some of the most famous models on the planet, Just Jared reported. The show streamed live, including on YouTube for the first time from Los Angeles, according to Page Six, in a homecoming for the spectacle: the show returned to LA after two years in New York, TMZ reported.

The headline moment belonged to McRae. The singer gave the first-ever live performance of her new single "Housewife," released just days earlier, and followed it with "Dear God" and "Sports Car," Just Jared reported. She performed in a red corset set with a matching red microphone, and shared a runway moment with Gigi Hadid during the show, according to Just Jared. McRae had telegraphed her approach before the show. She told W magazine: "My body is my costume," according to Just Jared — and on Sunday night she dressed like she meant it, arriving on the pink carpet in a bra-and-skirt look that showed off her abs, according to Page Six.

Country star Megan Moroney opened the performances and leaned all the way into the assignment: a white-and-glitter corset, miniskirt and garter topped with fluffy pink wings, Just Jared reported. A Nashville-meets-lingerie-show pairing would have sounded unlikely five years ago; on Sunday night it looked completely natural.

KATSEYE's big night, with two members missing

Global girl group KATSEYE performed "Pinky Up" and "Animal" in the show's Pink section and also walked the runway, Just Jared reported. Four members took the stage — Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae — while Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza remained on hiatus, according to Just Jared. Skiendiel addressed the absences around the show, telling Entertainment Tonight that the group is excited for Sophia's return, with her hiatus extended through January 2027, Just Jared reported. Even down two members, the group's slot was one of the night's most talked-about bookings: a Gen-Z global act performing inside the Pink segment is about as clean a handoff between the brand's past and its future as a casting director could draw up.

Closing duties fell to Megan Thee Stallion, and she treated the runway like a headline set. She closed the performances in silver wings and a lacy ensemble, according to Hello Magazine, capping a night that had already started with a fashion statement: her pink-carpet gown was inspired by a 2016 Naomi Campbell look, styled by Wayman + Micah with hair by Kellon Deryck, Hello Magazine reported. When your entrance is an homage to the most famous supermodel walk of the modern era and your exit is in silver wings, you understand the assignment at a level most performers never reach.

The runway around the music

The model lineup mixed the brand's classic era with its current one. Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham and Barbara Palvin were among the models in the show, Just Jared reported — a cast that spans the Angels era and the reboot era in a single lineup. The guest list had its own subplot: Lisa Rinna attended with her daughter Delilah Belle, TMZ reported, as celebrities filled the arrivals at Sony Pictures Studios through the evening.

The Los Angeles staging mattered, too. After two years in New York, bringing the show back to LA — and streaming it live on YouTube from the city for the first time, according to Page Six — turned Sunday night into a genuine pop-culture tentpole rather than a taped special that leaks in clips for a week. Four musical acts, four completely different lanes: country's new guard, a pop star debuting a single live, a global girl group mid-hiatus drama, and a rap closer in wings channeling Naomi Campbell. As a piece of casting, it was the strongest argument the revived show has made yet that it understands what year it is.

It also helped that the production treated the performances as co-headliners rather than filler between walks. Each act got a full musical moment built around her own world — Moroney's country sparkle, McRae's red-lit pop precision, KATSEYE's choreography-heavy Pink segment and Megan's closer energy — and the broadcast cut between runway and stage like it understood both halves of the show were the point, according to the recaps published by Just Jared and Page Six on Sunday night.

The arrivals told the same story as the stage. TMZ's cameras caught celebrities streaming into Sony Pictures Studios through the evening, and Page Six's red-carpet coverage treated the night like a proper Los Angeles premiere — which, after two years of the show belonging to New York, is exactly what the brand was staging: a homecoming with a livestream attached, and a cast of performers young enough to carry the show's next era.
