991 ratings at an 85 clip. Solid numbers for a solid game. Built around not being seen, from Ubisoft. Ghost it or go loud, but ghosting is the real game. Solo only, and better for it — this is a one-player experience through and through.

About this game

Write your own epic odyssey and become a legendary Spartan hero in Assassin's Creed Odyssey, an inspiring adventure where you must forge your destiny and define your own path in a world on the brink of tearing itself apart. Influence how history unfolds as you experience a rich and ever-changing world shaped by your decisions.

Set in ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War, the player takes the role of either Alexios or Kassandra, a Spartan mercenary cast out from their homeland. On a journey that spans the Greek world, they must uncover the truth about their fractured family while navigating the conflict between Athens and Sparta. Along the way, the protagonist becomes entangled with a mysterious cult operating in the shadows and discovers a connection to a civilization far older than their own. Their choices shape alliances, determine the fates of those around them, and influence how history unfolds across the Greek world.
