About this game

Write your epic odyssey and become a legendary Spartan hero in a world shaped by your choices. Get powerful gear, two new stories across six episodes in the season pass, and Assassin's Creed III Remastered for 4K and HDR upon its release.

Set in ancient Greece during the sweeping conflict of the Peloponnesian War, this tale follows a Spartan mercenary, either Alexios or Kassandra, a grandchild of the legendary king Leonidas. As a child, the hero was cast off a mountain and exiled from Sparta, growing up far from home as a wandering sellsword on the island of Kephallonia. When a mysterious patron hires them for a fateful assassination, they are pulled into a web of intrigue that reveals a shadowy organization, the Cult of Kosmos, secretly manipulating the war and hunting their bloodline. Learning that their long-lost family may still be alive, the mercenary sets sail across a vast Aegean world of warring city-states, gods, and myth, seeking to reunite the scattered members of their family while dismantling the Cult piece by piece. Alongside loyal companions, they carve out a legend of their own among heroes and monsters alike.
