That 61 average hides a game its 264 fans would defend to the death. Adventure in the classic sense: open world, forward momentum, and places worth seeing. Play it solo first. The multiplayer will still be there when you're done.

About this game

With over 20 years of history in its rear view mirror, Need for Speed returns with a reboot that delivers on what Need for Speed stands for - rich customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that drives your NFS game.

In the fictional coastal city of Ventura Bay, a young street racer and a small crew of friends chase recognition from a handful of legendary underground driving figures. Working through the city's nighttime racing scene, the player builds a reputation across different styles of driving while navigating the ambitions and rivalries within the group. The goal is to rise from an unknown to a respected name among the icons who define the local car culture.
