LAS VEGAS
The old Margaritaville space at the Flamingo gets its second life on Thursday. Luke Combs' Category 10 Las Vegas officially opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, Caesars Entertainment announced — a three-story, 34,000-square-foot country music venue with seven bars, two stages, roughly 800 seats and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop looking down Las Vegas Boulevard, launching with a four-day opening celebration that runs through Sunday.
The Las Vegas room is the second Category 10, after the Nashville flagship, and it is owned and operated by Opry Entertainment Group. It takes over one of the most visible corners on the Strip — the Flamingo, at 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard South — and aims squarely at the country audience that already floods the city for residencies, rodeos and festival weekends, except this time the honky-tonk is permanent.
Opening Day, and the Weekend After
Caesars' announcement lays out an opening day built for the early crowd: bootmaker Dingo will be on hand as the first guests come through, raffling off five pairs of boots among the first 50 people through the door. The celebration then rolls through Sunday, October 18, with free line dancing and performances by TJ Favella, Desert Heat and DJ Eric Rhodes, according to the announcement carried by Backstage Country and 102.7 Coyote Country.
The venue has also launched exclusive Las Vegas merchandise, with a free Category 10 Las Vegas poster for fans who spend $60 through opening weekend, and a Las Vegas Getaway Sweepstakes running through October 31 — roundtrip airfare, a two-night stay at the Flamingo and a VIP dinner for two at the venue for the winner.

Three Floors, Three Different Nights
Category 10 is not one big room — each floor is its own place. The ground floor is Hurricane Hall, the main dining and performance space, built around three bars, a central stage and a dance floor, with state-of-the-art video, acoustics and lighting designed to give the room a concert feel and curated performers appearing daily. It is also where the free line-dancing lessons happen. Tucked into the first floor is the Beautiful Crazy Women's Lounge — a champagne bar, soft seating, makeup counters and Hollywood vanity mirrors inside the women's lounge, turning a waiting area into a destination of its own.
The second floor slows down. The Still is the venue's bourbon room — an intimate space built around an extensive bourbon selection, with an outdoor patio and views down to the main stage. Up top, The Eye is the 3,000-square-foot rooftop with a DJ and open-air views of the Strip, while the Hurricane Bar handles walk-up service. Running through the building: a retail shop and a hat wall that mixes caps from Combs' own collection with hats sent in by fans from around the world — the same fan-first texture as the Nashville original.
What's on the Menu
The kitchen runs scratch-made and Appalachian-inspired, per the opening coverage: Carolina Smoked Ribs, Deep Sea Señorita Shrimp Skewers, a Smoky Mountain Chicken Sandwich, Carolina Bar-B-Que Chicken Flatbread, and cocktails poured into signature souvenir cups. It is bar food with a Carolina accent, priced and portioned for a room that expects people to stay for a second set rather than a second mortgage.
Beyond Opening Weekend
The opening party is four days; the venue is built for the other 361. Caesars' announcement describes a building designed to work in layers — spaces across the three floors can host gatherings and private events of all sizes alongside the nightly public rooms, and Hurricane Hall's calendar is built around daily live music and standing line-dancing lessons rather than occasional concerts. That is the Nashville model's whole point, transplanted: not a themed bar trading on a famous name, but a working honky-tonk with a famous name on the door — the kind of venue the Strip's country fans have historically had to leave Las Vegas Boulevard to find.
If You're Going
The practical picture for opening weekend: doors at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Flamingo, with the boot raffle reserved for the first 50 guests, so the line figures to form early on Las Vegas Boulevard. The opening celebration runs Thursday through Sunday with free line dancing daily in Hurricane Hall; Caesars' announcement did not publish set times for the weekend's performers, so checking the venue's official site before heading over is the smart play. The Getaway Sweepstakes stays open until 11:59 p.m. Central on October 31, and the free-poster merchandise offer runs through the opening weekend only.
Combs himself walked the space back in March, a few hours before playing to a state-record crowd of 70,921 at Allegiant Stadium, and told reporters on that visit that after what Nashville became, he had no worries about how the Las Vegas room would turn out. Seven months later, the doors are the last thing left to test.
