Kai Cenat Is Running Five GTA Games Back to Back Before GTA VI

Kai Cenat read the list out himself: "GTA 3. Vice City. San Andreas. GTA 4. And GTA 5." Starting Thursday, November 5 at 3 p.m. ET — 12 noon PT — on Twitch and YouTube, he plays all five back to back: the whole mainline story of Grand Theft Auto, in the fourteen days before GTA VI arrives on November 19.

Fourteen days, five campaigns

His chat did the math before he finished talking. Five full story campaigns in two weeks split the room on sight — some fans called it impossible, others said it's only impossible if he's chasing 100%, and a loud corner is already camped on Vice City's RC helicopter mission, the one that has been ending runs since 2002.

The list itself caught hands, too. Five mainline games means no Vice City Stories and no Liberty City Stories, and one running verdict says the run doesn't count without GTA IV's DLC episodes. The list, so far, has not moved.

Vice City is personal

The order isn't random. Vice City was the first GTA Kai ever played, and on his November 2 stream he told the story again: a kid in Brooklyn, his stepdad handing him the controller, a motorbike, Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" on the radio. "My life changed from there."

San Andreas is the flip side. He free-roamed it as a kid and never finished the story — by his own admission, he doesn't remember how it goes. The middle of this marathon is a first playthrough dressed as a reunion.

The loudest seat on the road to VI

The marathon lands in the middle of Previously's GTA VI run-up: the preload just moved up to November 10, the drip started early with Travis Scott's GTA VI Air Force 1, and Kai is already having a month. He has also called his shot for launch day — when VI drops on November 19, he plans to marathon it to 100%, not just to the credits.
