Saturday night belonged to the survivors. Georgia went into Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama 20-17 in the game of the day, and in Cleveland the Guardians finished one of the great Division Series comebacks — a 2-0 Game 5 shutout of the White Sox to rally from 0-2 and reach the ALCS. Kentucky outlasted LSU 35-34 in overtime, Oklahoma took the Red River shootout 27-24, and UCLA stunned Oregon 17-15 at Autzen. Here's every final from a 47-game night.

1. Georgia slips past Alabama 20-17 in a Tuscaloosa classic

Gunner Stockton was 18-of-22 for 249 yards and a touchdown with one interception, and Dwight Phillips Jr. ran for 120 yards on 17 carries as the Bulldogs controlled the line of scrimmage when it mattered most. Alabama freshman Keelon Russell threw for 185 yards and a score in a losing effort, but the Tide couldn't find the late answer. In a season of chaos in the SEC, this one will echo into November. 2. Guardians complete the 0-2 comeback, shut out the White Sox 2-0 in ALDS Game 5

Cleveland is going back to the AL Championship Series. José Ramírez hit a two-run homer in the fourth off Sean Burke — all the offense the Guardians needed — and Cleveland beat the White Sox 2-0 in a rainy winner-take-all Game 5 at Progressive Field, winning the series 3-2 after falling behind 0-2. Gavin Williams was untouchable: 12 strikeouts, a no-hitter into the sixth, the most Ks by a Guardians pitcher in a postseason game. When he loaded the bases with two outs in the sixth, Erik Sabrowski came on and struck out Munetaka Murakami to end the threat. Guardians pitchers struck out 75 White Sox across the five games, the most ever in a five-game series, and Cleveland became just the 11th team in 96 tries to rally from 0-2 in a best-of-five. The ALCS against the Tampa Bay Rays starts Monday night in Florida. Guardians · White Sox · Full matchup detail · MLB
