Terence Crawford Wants One More — and He's Shopping Floyd's Aisle

The undefeated champ who retired after beating Canelo spent one night on X teasing a comeback, offering Ryan Garcia 160 pounds and telling Floyd Mayweather they'd "crash everything."

Terence Crawford retired at the top. Undefeated, 42–0, the undisputed super middleweight champion after beating Canelo Alvarez. Nothing left to prove. Then on Tuesday night he opened X and typed three words.

"Maybe one more!🙃"

That was 9:12 p.m. Pacific. Within minutes he was picking opponents out loud. First Gervonta Davis, a fight the scale won't allow: "I wish I was at 135 I'll stop Tank," Crawford wrote. Then he laughed it off — "Then again I'll come in at 135 and he'll say I gotta be 130 come fight time."

So he went looking for someone who could actually make weight.

"What's up @RyanGarcia 160?"

Thirty minutes later, he answered his own question: "Mybad @RyanGarcia you got Mayweather to focused on I forgot.🤷🏿‍♂️"

Why Garcia, why 160

Garcia is 28 and holds the WBC welterweight title. His recent fights have been at 147, so 160 is a 13-pound climb for him. For Crawford, who has fought everywhere from 147 to 168, it's the middle of his range. That's the needle in the offer — a real fight, at a real weight, against a man who just beat Canelo.

And Garcia already has a dance partner in mind. On October 30, he publicly pressed Mayweather to commit to a fight for his belt, saying he's fighting February 6 regardless and writing, "I will TAKE your zero with pleasure. Final warning no more games let's make it happen." Mayweather, 49, has since announced a December 19 exhibition in Bangkok against Matty Floyd and called it "a lil tune up before me and Ryan Garcia lock up Feb. 2027." Nothing between the two has been signed.

Then he went straight at Floyd

By Wednesday morning, Crawford had skipped the middleman. "There's a reason they want me to come back," he wrote. "They had yall fooled thinking I couldn't sell and wasn't marketable.🤣🤣🤣 now look I'm the ticket." Then the pitch, uncensored in the original: Floyd, "me and you would crash everything. GOAT vs GOAT."

No weight. No date. No terms. Just the most expensive two words in boxing — "Money" Mayweather — sitting next to his own name.

Garcia did answer, just not the way Crawford asked. After Crawford posted that Garcia "know what's up," Garcia fired back: "Do you really need to get beat up? Stop the yapping, send an offer or shut up. Simple. Your people know my people."

Crawford replied by tagging Garcia and Turki Alalshikh, the Saudi boxing power broker whose checks make fights like this happen. As of Thursday morning, Mayweather has not publicly responded.

Nothing signed — Garcia wants an offer, Floyd has not answered

There is no fight. No contract, no date, no venue, no purse. What there is: an undefeated champion who walked away clean, a welterweight champion asking him to put money on the table, and a 50–0 legend whose name keeps coming up in everyone's plans.

Crawford closed the day like a man who already knows the answer. "Ok yall im done fucking with yall. I'm going to the gym today to knock this rust off.😁"
