Clear the calendar and charge the remote. This weekend has a World Series game with a first-time champion on the line, two unbeaten NFL teams putting perfect records up on Sunday, the Timberwolves' home opener, a Paris kickoff before most of Vegas has had coffee, and Omar Sy back in the disguise closet for Lupin Part 4. Here is the whole weekend, in the order you will actually watch it — every time Pacific.

Saturday, October 24

College football first: Alabama and Texas hold the big chairs

Saturday starts at 9 a.m. with two ranked spotlights at once — No. 6 Indiana at Michigan on FOX, and Pitt at No. 1 Miami on ESPN. The afternoon belongs to Texas A&M at No. 13 Alabama at 12:30 p.m. on ABC, and the nightcap is a good one: No. 7 Ole Miss at No. 19 Texas at 4:30 p.m. on ABC. Four games, three networks, zero reason to leave the couch before dark.

Golden Knights at Blue Jackets — 4 p.m. PT, Scripps Sports / KnightTime+

The Golden Knights (8-4-0) close their two-game road trip in Columbus after Thursday's 6-2 loss in St. Louis. Vegas gave up six in that one, so the response game matters more than the opponent. Puck drops at 4 p.m. from Nationwide Arena.

The main event: World Series Game 2 — Rays at Brewers, 5 p.m. PT, FOX

Somebody is winning their first World Series this week — neither the Rays nor the Brewers has ever taken the Fall Classic. Milwaukee (103-59) swept the defending champion Dodgers to reach its first World Series since 1982, and Tampa Bay beat Cleveland in six to win the American League pennant. Game 2 goes Saturday night at 5 p.m. from American Family Field on FOX, streaming on FOX One. This is the one game this weekend nobody gets to call skippable.

Late hoops: Wembanyama vs. Flagg, then Curry vs. Booker

The NBA saved its two best Saturday matchups for the evening. San Antonio at Dallas at 5 p.m. on NBA League Pass is Victor Wembanyama against Cooper Flagg — the league's present and its future in the same building. Then Golden State at Phoenix at 7 p.m. on NBA TV gives you Stephen Curry against Devin Booker to close the night.

Sunday, October 25

The wild card: Steelers vs. Saints — in Paris, 6:30 a.m. PT, NFL Network

The NFL is playing a regular-season game in Paris, and it kicks off at 6:30 in the morning our time. Pittsburgh against New Orleans, coffee very much required. Set the alarm or set the DVR, but a 6:30 a.m. kickoff from Paris is the most gloriously unreasonable thing on this entire guide — which is exactly why it leads Sunday.

Unbeaten watch, part one: Colts at Vikings — 10 a.m. PT, CBS

The Vikings are 5-0, rested off their bye, and home at U.S. Bank Stadium against a 2-4 Colts team that just lost to previously winless Tennessee. Minnesota's perfect start has been built on defense, and Indianapolis is exactly the kind of desperate team that ruins a nice Sunday. Kickoff is 10 a.m. on CBS.

The Vegas window: Rams at Raiders — 1:25 p.m. PT, FOX

Allegiant Stadium hosts the late window: the 2-4 Rams visit the 3-3 Raiders, who have lost three straight by a combined handful of plays — including a 33-30 loss to Buffalo last Sunday. Los Angeles has lost two straight of its own, and Puka Nacua's status was still up in the air Friday morning after a calf issue, so watch the inactives list before kickoff. Same window, also on FOX: Green Bay at Detroit, if you need a second screen.

Wolves come home: Raptors at Timberwolves — 4 p.m. PT, NBA TV

Minnesota's home opener at Target Center is a real show: Anthony Edwards in front of his crowd, LaMelo Ball playing his first home game as a Timberwolf, and Kawhi Leonard on the other side with Toronto. That is three different eras of star power in one 4 p.m. tip on NBA TV.

Unbeaten watch, part two: Chiefs at Seahawks — 5:20 p.m. PT, NBC / Peacock

Sunday night closes with the other perfect record. The 5-0 Chiefs go into Lumen Field against the 3-3 Seahawks, and the subplot is delicious: Kenneth Walker III, who has run for 665 yards and six touchdowns in five games, returns to Seattle as a Chief after starring there. Patrick Mahomes in that building, with that storyline, on NBC — the weekend could not ask for a better last word.

Lupin: Part 4 — Netflix, out Friday

Omar Sy is back as gentleman thief Assane Diop, and Part 4 lands on Netflix Friday, October 23. If the weekend's live schedule leaves you any gaps at all, this is the binge that fills them. Start with Previously's Lupin page if you need the road map of the disguises so far.

Nobody Wants This: Season 3 — Netflix, out now

Kristen Bell and Adam Brody returned Thursday for Season 3 of the rom-com that somehow made a rabbi-and-a-podcaster relationship the most argued-about love story on streaming. All episodes are up now.

In theaters: Clayface, Wildwood and Klara and the Sun

The big screen gets the weirdest lineup of the weekend. Clayface opens Friday — an R-rated DC body-horror story with Tom Rhys Harries as disfigured actor Matt Hagen and Naomi Ackie, co-written by Mike Flanagan. LAIKA's stop-motion Wildwood, from director Travis Knight, is the family play with real craft behind it. And Taika Waititi's Klara and the Sun, with Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams, is the prestige pick. Check Coming Soon for what is landing next.

The Bride! — Prime Video, out Friday

If staying in wins, Prime Video adds The Bride! on Friday, October 23 — the weekend's easiest one-click movie night.

Play it, hear it

Modern Warfare 4 is live — all weekend

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 opened Friday on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 — campaign, multiplayer and DMZ all live, and notably not on Game Pass at launch. The CoD Vault has your briefing room for the launch weekend.

New music: John Legend's Muse

Friday's headline album is John Legend's Muse — 16 songs, produced in full by Pharrell Williams, with Clipse joining on "Bodies on the Floor." Also new Friday: Heavy Is The Crown from Anderson .Paak and Cordae. Legend first, .Paak and Cordae for the late session.
