Happy hour is the last honest deal in Las Vegas. The same kitchens, the same bartenders, the same rooms — at half the damage, if you know which hours to hunt. We ranked the ones we’d send our own people to: a locals’ institution where the steak deal runs twice a night, a Strip steakhouse doing $7 bites, and a golden hour at a Michelin-starred dining room that feels like a pricing error.
02 The Rankings
1. Herbs & Rye — West Sahara (the locals’ champion). Monday–Saturday, 5–8 p.m. and again midnight–3 a.m., 3713 W. Sahara Ave. The deal that built a reputation: 50 percent off steaks and select menu items, plus drink specials, in a candlelit speakeasy that looks like nothing from the strip-mall parking lot. It runs twice a night, which makes it as much an industry hang as a happy hour. Arrive before 6 if you want a seat without a wait — locals have packed this bar at open since 2009.
2. STK — The Cosmopolitan (Strip). Daily, 2:30–5:30 p.m. STK’s “777” happy hour puts seven specialty cocktails at $12 (regularly $24) and seven shareable bites at $7 each — salmon sliders, ceviche and more — in one of the loudest, most scene-heavy rooms on the Strip. Steakhouse energy at lounge prices, if you can do your drinking before dinner.
3. Côte Korean Steakhouse — The Venetian (Strip). Sunday–Thursday, 5–6 p.m. They call it Golden Hour: one of the only Korean barbecue happy hours in the city, at a Michelin-starred restaurant, with a tight menu of items priced at $8.88 — including the Korean Bacon — plus a featured cocktail at $10. Sixty minutes, no wasted motion. Be there at 5.
4. TAO Asian Bistro — The Venetian (Strip). Las Vegas Advisor’s math on this one is hard to argue with: everything on the happy hour menu is $10. Spicy tuna tartare on crispy rice and a sake comes to $20 all-in, inside one of the most famous dining rooms in town. Days and bar seating shift with the room’s schedule, so check the night’s setup when you arrive.
5. CASBAR Lounge — SAHARA Las Vegas (Strip). $7 prosecco all day, every day — plus 3–5 p.m. and 8–9 p.m. windows with 50 percent off well liquor and wine and buy-one-get-one-free beer. A cozy, fireplace-lit lounge doing two discount windows a day. The easiest happy hour on the north Strip; no reservation strategy required.
6. Park on Fremont — Downtown. Monday–Thursday 3–7 p.m., Friday–Sunday 4–6 p.m. Five-dollar drafts, $7 wells, sparkling and house wines, a $9 cocktail of the day, and the “Gnome Hour” deal — a burger and a bartender’s-choice draft for $15 — on a dog-friendly patio in the Fremont East district. Downtown prices, downtown crowd, zero casino carpet.
7. SUGARCANE Raw Bar Grill — The Venetian (Strip, late night). Sunday–Thursday from 10 p.m., Friday–Saturday from 11 p.m., until close. The late-night entry: $2.50 fresh oysters (six-oyster minimum), $6 shrimp cocktails, $8 cocktails and $8 glasses of wine, plus a real menu — poke bowls, tuna rolls, goat cheese croquettes — when the rest of the Strip has gone to room service. Confirm the start time the day you go; the late sessions have shifted before.
8. Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca — Green Valley Ranch, Henderson (locals). Monday–Friday, 4–6 p.m. Tuscan plates at $8–$9 — meatballs, caprese, pizzetta — with drink specials in an airy room facing desert views, and on Thursdays a $5 martini when you order an entrée. The suburban locals’ answer to Strip pricing, fifteen minutes from the neon.
03 Before You Go
Happy-hour menus, windows and prices change with the season — and sometimes with the week. Everything above was verified against the venues and local listings at publish time, but a ten-second call or a glance at the venue’s page before you head out is the difference between a deal and a disappointment. We’ll keep this ranking refreshed as the deals move.
