Rockstar's GTA 6 Merch Is Here: Vice City Tees, a $40 Zippo, and a $400 Box With No Game In It

Forty-two days out from November 19, the merch machine is fully awake — and yes, the $399.99 collector's box really doesn't include the game.

The Short Version

  • Rockstar has opened the official Grand Theft Auto VI Collection on its store: heavyweight cotton tees ($29.99) in black, blue, and pink with the VI logo or classic Rockstar logo, Goodtime State and Macca the Gator tees, pre-order hats, canvas tote bags, and collectibles.
  • The collectibles: a chrome keychain ($14.99), a two-sided Vice City money clip ($24.99), a branded Zippo lighter ($39.99), and sticker packs ($4.99–$9.99). Free shipping on orders over $100.
  • The $399.99 The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection box — 11 items including a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley Frogskins, and a New Era snapback — ships November 19 and does not include the game. Sold separately, per the store page.
  • There's also a physical "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album" on CD and vinyl — the 34-track soundtrack — in exclusive and standard editions. The game launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

We are 42 days from the biggest entertainment launch in history, and Rockstar has decided the time is right to sell you the shirt. The official Grand Theft Auto VI Collection is now live on the Rockstar Store, and it's exactly what you'd expect from a company that understands its audience down to the wallet: heavyweight cotton tees in Vice City's signature pink, blue, and black; palm-tree hats; a chrome money clip; a branded Zippo lighter; and a $399.99 collector's box that contains many things, none of which is the video game.

Let's start with the everyday stuff, because this is the first time regular fans — not just the $400-box crowd — have had anything official to buy. The apparel lineup is built on heavyweight cotton tees at $29.99 a pop, per the store's own listings, which we checked directly. The designs come in black, blue, and pink, and they split into a few camps: the minimalist VI logo tees, the classic Rockstar Games logo tees, the Goodtime State tees, and the Macca the Gator tee in white — Macca being the star of Leonida's in-universe TV show, who has quietly become the mascot of this entire marketing cycle. There are women's cropped baby-logo tees in the mix too. The hats follow the same color story: Rockstar logo caps and VI logo caps, plus stretch-fitted cotton caps with a palm-tree-filled VI logo that are up for pre-order.

Beyond the wearables, the drop gets into the pocket-sized stuff. Two canvas tote bags carry the VI logo. The collectibles run from $4.99 to $39.99: a chrome metal keychain ($14.99), a two-sided Grand Theft Auto VI – Vice City money clip in chrome ($24.99), a refillable polished Zippo lighter ($39.99), and two sticker collections — a standard set at $9.99 and a holographic set at $4.99. The store notes free shipping on orders over $100, and per Notebookcheck's reporting, everything in this wave is available to buy right now, no pre-order required — a deliberate contrast with the big box.

Ah, the big box. The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection has been live for pre-order since September 24, and it remains the most audacious piece of merch in recent memory: $399.99 for eleven items, shipping November 19 — the same day the game launches — with no copy of the game inside. The store page says it plainly: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separate." What's in the box: a 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with a twist-open stash base, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses in matte black with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a pink GTA VI logo, a Leonida Keys ripstop crossbody bag, a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback, a Macca the Gator magnetic mirror, a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, a Vice City collectible swizzle spoon, a Vice City razor-blade keychain, a Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin, a sticker pack in a stash bag, and a double-sided souvenir poster with Macca art on one side and a map of Leonida on the other. One per person, while supplies last, roughly 24 pounds — not eligible for free shipping. Rockstar is selling exactly two editions of the game itself (Standard at $79.99, Ultimate at $99.99), and this box is a third purchase on top of whichever you choose.

Then there's the music. "Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album" — the game's 34-track soundtrack — is getting a proper physical release, with both CD and vinyl editions listed on the store in exclusive and standard variants. This is a genuine event for GTA sickos: the series' soundtracks are cultural documents in their own right, and a vinyl pressing of the Vice City-era tracklist is the kind of object that will live on shelves for decades. It also lands on a day when Rockstar has been pushing the audio side hard — the in-game radio stations and their hosts were revealed this morning, complete with podcasts, a first for the franchise.

The store itself is getting smarter about all of this. Rockstar has added a wishlist feature so fans can track items they're eyeing, with restock and sale alerts for mailing list subscribers — which tells you the company expects this stuff to sell out and expects you to come back. The merch drop is one front in a marketing campaign that has been escalating all week: the radio station reveal this morning, the Miami Heat's Vice City Night collaboration (the first time the team has played under the Vice City name, the night before launch), and Take-Two's extended GTA 6 look on Netflix that fans have been freeze-framing for days.

Some necessary grounding on the game itself, since the merch only matters because of what's coming: Grand Theft Auto 6 launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is Rockstar's first new title for the current consoles — arriving more than 13 years after GTA 5 and more than 8 years after Red Dead Redemption 2. Players will switch between Jason and Lucia as they tear across Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. No PC version has been announced. Standard is $79.99, Ultimate is $99.99, and if history is any guide, the only question is how many records it breaks in the first 24 hours, not whether it breaks them.

Zoom out and the strategy is obvious. Rockstar isn't selling shirts; it's selling membership in the 42-day countdown. Every tee, every sticker pack, every $40 lighter is a little flag planted in the culture ahead of the launch — the kind of ambient ubiquity that turns a game release into a season. The indie showcases and subscription rotations can fight over the calendar all they want; for the next six weeks, there's GTA 6 and then there's everything else. The merch is just Rockstar making sure you can wear the difference.
