Lil Baby Reveals 'Fresh' Tracklist, Sets November 6 Release for Fifth Album

A whiteboard photo on Instagram did the rollout: 17 songs, Future and Young Thug sharing one track, Rylo Rodriguez on another, and the Pharrell-produced 'Dead Fresh' leading Lil Baby's fifth studio album, due Friday, November 6.

Atlanta's Lil Baby didn't rent a billboard or cut a trailer to announce his next album. He took a photo of a whiteboard. In an Instagram post on Friday, the rapper revealed the tracklist for Fresh, his fifth studio album, and gave it a date: Friday, November 6. The caption was three words long — “It's That Season” — and the board did the rest of the talking: 17 songs, and a guest list kept unusually short.

The date itself had been floated earlier this month, when Baby posted “November 6” with no title, no cover and no tracklist attached, and left everyone to guess what it meant. Friday's whiteboard is what turned that tease into an album.

What stands out on the board is how much of it is Baby alone. Of the 17 tracks, only two carry announced guests. The rest of the titles sit there with no feature attached, which points to a deliberately solo record — a notable choice for an artist whose biggest albums have usually arrived with a crowd around him. A whiteboard is not a final tracklist, and the board could still change before November 6, but as a statement of intent it reads clearly enough: this one is meant to stand on his name first.

The headline guest spot goes to “All My Patnas,” which puts Future and Young Thug on the same song with Baby. The three of them have history. Their last linkup, “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” from Baby's 2025 album WHAM, reached No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Future and Thug's own partnership runs back to their 2017 joint project Super Slimey. Both guests arrive busy — Future released his solo album The Real Me in July, and Young Thug is preparing an R&B-focused follow-up to his 2025 album UY SCUTI — which makes the reunion feel less like a favor and more like a summit.

The board's only other feature is “In Your Head,” with Rylo Rodriguez. That one is family business: Rodriguez is a longtime Baby collaborator signed to his Glass Window Entertainment label, and the two have been trading verses since early in both careers. Keeping the guest list to a label signee and two Atlanta pillars gives the album a closed-circle feel — everybody named on that board is somebody Baby either came up with or brought in himself.

The album's engine is already running. “Dead Fresh,” produced by Pharrell Williams, sits on the board after becoming Baby's biggest solo moment of the year. The song — his first official collaboration with Williams — premiered in June at Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 2027 men's show in Paris, where Williams serves as men's creative director, and then arrived on July 17 through Quality Control and Motown. It peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and its official video, directed by Kid Art and released July 20, dressed the whole thing in front-row fashion-week gloss. The album title is no accident: Fresh grows straight out of the single that announced this era.

Fresh lands at a measuring-point moment in Baby's career. His fourth studio album, WHAM, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in January 2025 with 140,000 equivalent album units — his fourth straight chart-topper — but the conversation around it cooled faster than those debut numbers suggested. He stayed prolific anyway: the mixtape The Leaks followed in December, and 2026 has been a year of singles and guest spots rather than a full statement. That is the gap Fresh is built to close. The standard behind him is high — his 2020 album My Turn finished that year as the best-selling and most-streamed album in music, full stop — and a 17-track, solo-leaning record is the kind of bet an artist makes when he intends to re-enter that conversation on his own terms.

One recent song is conspicuously missing. “Coast 2 Coast,” the single Baby released on October 7 with Fatt Smaxk and Bally Baby, does not appear anywhere on the whiteboard — a reminder that a marker-board tracklist is a snapshot, not a contract. Songs can be added, swapped or dropped before release, and neither cover art nor a final sequence has been announced. What is locked, per Baby himself, is the date and the shape of the thing: 17 songs, three guests, one producer credit that already has a hit attached to it.

The countdown now runs to Friday, November 6, when Fresh arrives as the fifth chapter of one of Atlanta's defining rap careers. The rollout's victory lap is already on the calendar, too: on December 5, Baby brings a birthday celebration billed as Fresh Prince of Atlanta to State Farm Arena in his hometown. If the album lands the way the whiteboard promises, that night doubles as a coronation. If it doesn't, the board that announced it will be the first thing people point back to. Either way — it's that season.
