'No, I'm Not a Human' Heads to Consoles in Spring 2027, and 'Arctic Eggs' Is Out Now on Xbox

CRITICAL REFLEX used the ID@Xbox showcase to confirm Trioskaz's paranoia horror hit for PS5, Xbox Series including Game Pass, and Switch in spring 2027 — and to shadow-drop its surreal egg-frying sim Arctic Eggs on Xbox the same day.

The Short Version

The knock on the door is finally coming to the living room. Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Trioskaz have confirmed that No, I’m not a Human, the anxiety horror thriller that became one of PC gaming’s word-of-mouth hits last year, will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch in 2027, Gematsu reported. The announcement came during the ID@Xbox showcase on October 20, and it did not arrive alone: the same publisher used the show to launch the surreal cooking sim Arctic Eggs on Xbox Series X|S the very same day, with PlayStation 5 and Switch versions to follow soon. Previously rounded up the full showcase slate in our ID@Xbox showcase wrap; this story is about the two CRITICAL REFLEX titles that deserve a closer look, because one of them is the most quietly terrifying game of the last year and the other is a game about frying eggs at the end of the world. Somehow, they belong in the same sentence.

The door-knocking game that sold half a million copies

Start with the numbers, because they explain why a console port matters here. According to CRITICAL REFLEX’s showcase announcement, reported by Capsule Computers, No, I’m not a Human sold over 500,000 units in its first month on Steam. That is a remarkable figure for a game with no combat showcase, no open world and no jump-scare trailer moment — a game whose core verb, most of the time, is looking through a peephole and deciding whether the person on the other side of the door is actually a person. It first launched for PC via Steam on September 15, 2025, Gematsu noted, and it has been building the kind of reputation ever since that makes console players ask, with increasing impatience, when it is their turn.

The premise is stark, and the game states it as a warning rather than a pitch. Per the overview on its Steam page, quoted by Gematsu: “WARNING. Stay inside. Lock your doors. Close the blinds. Only let humans in. Eliminate all Visitors. An anxiety horror about paranoia in the End of Times.” The sun has become lethal; the streets outside are scorched; the only refuge is the night. But the night belongs to the Visitors — beings that look like us, talk like us and smell like us, and are not us. Guests arrive at your door begging for shelter. Isolation is not an option, because the Visitors will overwhelm a house with nobody in it, so you must let some people in, hear their stories, watch for the signs — and, when you conclude that a guest is a Visitor, do what the game bluntly tells you must be done.

What the console version includes

Console players are not getting a stripped-down port a year late; they are getting the finished thing. CRITICAL REFLEX said the console release will include the full game and all content additions, including the “Usual Suspects” update, when it arrives in spring 2027, according to the publisher’s announcement reported by Capsule Computers. The Xbox version will also launch into Game Pass, the announcement said, and Gematsu reported that a PC version via the Microsoft Store is part of the plan alongside the three consoles. Wishlist pages are live now, so the long wait at least comes with a button to press.

There is a design question worth watching here, and it is a genuinely interesting one. No, I’m not a Human is a game of small tells: teeth that are a little too perfect, eyes that sit a little wrong, a story that changes in the retelling. On PC, players lean in close to a monitor and scrutinize faces at peephole distance. On a television across a living room, with a controller instead of a mouse, that scrutiny has to survive a very different kind of looking. Games this dependent on unease usually translate well to consoles — horror always has — but the interrogation rhythm is the soul of this one, and Trioskaz has until spring 2027 to make sure the door feels just as heavy on a gamepad.

And then there are the eggs

If No, I’m not a Human is the showcase’s dread, Arctic Eggs is its beautiful absurdity — and unlike the horror hit, you do not have to wait for it. The game launched on Xbox Series X|S on October 20, the day of the showcase, CRITICAL REFLEX announced, with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions coming soon. IGN, in its showcase coverage syndicated via Steam News, described it as a physics-focused game that tasks players with cooking eggs in the Arctic, and noted that it comes from developer The Water Museum. It has been out on PC since May 2024, Gamereactor reported in its showcase wrap, which means Xbox players are inheriting a cult favorite rather than gambling on an unknown.

The fiction is gloriously deadpan. You are a humble Poultry Peddler, stripped of rank for crimes forgotten, pan in hand, feeding the hungry inhabitants of a frozen habitat — that is the setup as CRITICAL REFLEX tells it. IGN’s coverage added the detail that sells the whole game: it is not just eggs. You will pan-fry anything from cockroaches to shot glasses, sausages and stingrays, with the aim of feeding the city and possibly earning an audience with the Saint of Six Stomachs. It is, as the publisher puts it, all in the wrist — the physics of a flipping egg doing the work that a lesser game would assign to a skill tree.

One publisher, three punches

Zoom out and the showcase told a tidy story about a publisher with range. CRITICAL REFLEX placed three titles in the window: Arctic Eggs out now, the space-freighter horror hit Mouthwashing arriving on consoles on October 29 — on Xbox Series X|S including Game Pass, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Switch, after selling over 800,000 copies, per the publisher’s announcement — and No, I’m not a Human headlining spring 2027. Dread, absurdity and dread again, in that order. For more of this week’s games news, see our coverage of Cyberpunk 2077’s Edgerunners 2 update, and browse the wider slate in the Previously newsroom.

The honest summary is this: the ID@Xbox show was full of dates, and we covered all of them in the wrap. But the announcements people will still be talking about next spring are the ones from a small publisher that has made a specialty of games you cannot quite shake — a peddler with a frying pan, a crew going mad in deep space, and a knock on the door that you will answer, carefully, sometime in 2027. Lock your doors. Close the blinds. Wishlist responsibly.
