Drake Maye dropped five touchdowns on the Raiders, Trump claimed an energy ceasefire that caught Kyiv off-guard, and the GTA 6 leaker put a $30 million price on a full build leak. Here is everything that moved since this morning.

1. Maye drops five touchdowns on the Raiders as the early NFL window goes final

Drake Maye accounted for five touchdowns as the Patriots bulldozed the Raiders 45-17 at Gillette Stadium, per the Providence Journal — New England's third win of the season and second straight since last week's road win at Buffalo. Maye is suddenly the AFC's story of the week.

At Lambeau, Jordan Love carved up the Bears for 367 yards and two scores in a 31-7 Packers rout: Green Bay won the turnover battle 5-0, Xavier McKinney picked off two passes, and Chicago benched Tyson Bagent for Case Keenum in the fourth quarter, per Reuters — both teams now 3-2. Elsewhere: the Steelers handled the Colts 34-22, the Bengals beat the Dolphins 31-24, the Vikings downed the Saints 23-13, the Jets edged the Browns 17-12, the Texans rolled the Titans 26-3 — and the Commanders and Giants played to a 27-27 tie. The Jaguars' 19-17 London win over the Eagles got its own full treatment in our NFL Sunday midday report.

2. Trump announces an “energy ceasefire” — and catches Kyiv off-guard

President Trump announced Sunday morning that Russia and Ukraine have agreed to what he called an “energy ceasefire,” writing on Truth Social: “Effective immediately, there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine. Both parties have agreed. Do not break it!” per CNN. Neither the White House nor the Kremlin has said how the agreement was reached.

The catch: Kyiv found out the same way everyone else did. “The cease-fire announcement was news for me,” President Zelensky told Axios’ Barak Ravid, adding that Ukraine will accept if Russia agrees — “we are ready and we will accept it.” A Ukrainian official told CNN simply: “We just read it as you did.” It follows Friday's controversial Russian diesel deal and the Miami talks, and our newsroom has the full claim covered in Trump's energy ceasefire claim.

3. Riyadh's airport is struck again — the second attack in two days

Saudi officials said a new strike hit King Khalid International Airport on Sunday — an “unidentified projectile” targeted Terminal 4, injuring an unspecified number of people and sparking a fire, while air defenses intercepted a cruise missile nearby, per USA Today. The kingdom's Dammam airport was also attacked Sunday.

The Houthis claimed Saturday's attack — which killed 13 people, after an injured Indian citizen died Sunday, per India's Riyadh embassy — and the airport has been closed since. Riyadh schools shift to remote learning Sunday through Thursday. The Red Sea is having its own terrible week too: a supertanker caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz Sunday morning, covered in our Hormuz tanker fire report.

4. The GTA 6 leaker names a price: $30 million

The anonymous account behind two months of unauthorized GTA 6 footage posted an “Offer” on October 10: if its Solana-based memecoin hits a $30 million market cap, a build containing the full GTA 6 campaign — through the ending and credits — goes public, per Dot Esports. The alternative: Take-Two ships physical discs and issues a public apology.

On Sunday the leaker dropped 5 minutes and 28 seconds of new Lucia-focused footage — combat, a robbery, a joke commercial — per Sportskeeda. The claim is unverified, no build exists publicly as of today, and Rockstar is holding the November 19 launch date. Practical advice from the gaming press: don't download anything claiming to be the game. It's malware.

5. Abhishek Sharma becomes the fastest to 2,000 T20I runs

India opener Abhishek Sharma reached 2,000 T20I runs in 1,024 balls during Sunday's third T20I against the West Indies — the fastest by balls faced in the format's history, per Inshorts. He broke Suryakumar Yadav's record of 1,164 balls; Australia's Aaron Finch is third at 1,283.

The 26-year-old has been on a tear all series, and the record puts him in genuinely historic company before his 27th birthday. India keeps its T20I core humming as the format's depth chart reshuffles around him.

6. A Lancet study lists 17 ways humanity could end by 2100

A study published in The Lancet identified 17 threats that could potentially wipe out humanity by 2100 — including nuclear war (and the nuclear famine that follows it), the misuse of AI in biological weapons development, and climate change, per Inshorts.

Cheerful Sunday reading, this is not. But it's the kind of paper that will get cited in every AI-safety and disarmament debate for the next year, so consider yourself ahead of the arguments.

7. Daryl Hall turns 80

Daryl Hall — half of Hall & Oates, the best-selling duo of all time — turned 80 on Sunday, born October 11, 1946 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, per Parade. Six No. 1 hits, two Halls of Fame, and he said in 2025 he’d found a box of demos with “thousands and thousands” of unreleased song ideas dating back to 1972.

He's headlined Live From Daryl's House since 2007 and released his last solo album in 2024. Eighty years in, the man is still writing. Some of us are still trying to finish yesterday's crossword.

Still developing this afternoon

NLCS Game 1 tonight

First pitch is 5:00 PM PT at American Family Field: the 103-win Brewers host the Dodgers to open the NLCS, with Jacob Misiorowski and Tarik Skubal the probable starters. Milwaukee is looking for its first World Series trip since 1982.

Falcons vs. Ravens on Sunday Night Football
