Ye Did It Again in Dallas

AT&T Stadium declared Saturday night the most attended rap concert in U.S. history — and Kid Cudi and Erykah Badu came out to make sure the night matched the number.

Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Ye brought the Texas leg of his Bully stadium run into the biggest room in the country — and left with another record. By the end of the night, the stadium's own channels had declared "Ye Live in Dallas" the most attended rap concert in U.S. history, in front of a reported crowd of more than 100,000 people.

It is the third time this year he has broken his own mark. In April, Ye sold 74,389 tickets on each of two nights at Inglewood's SoFi Stadium — the first time a rapper had passed 70,000 at a single American show, according to setlist.fm's record coverage, with a reported $18 million gross on the second night alone. On Halloween, Houston's Reliant Stadium announced a reported 80,210, a new U.S. stadium rap record. One week later, Dallas went bigger.

Houston, it turns out, was the rehearsal for Saturday. That night at Reliant Stadium, Ye stopped "Ghost Town" to tell the crowd, "We just broke the record. Biggest rap concert in U.S. history. Thank you, H-Town — thank y'all for sticking by me all these years," with Playboi Carti and his daughter North West both appearing during the set. Texas State Representative Ron Reynolds presented him with a Global Icon Award and a state proclamation after the show. The bar he set that night stood for exactly one week.

The set ran 42 songs deep, according to the official setlist published after the show — "Dark Fantasy" into "Waves" to open, then "Can't Tell Me Nothing," "Mercy," "Blood on the Leaves," "Carnival," "Power," "Runaway," "Stronger" and the rest of the catalog — all of it performed on and around the giant globe stage that has become this run's signature, a turning Earth under a stadium full of phone lights. André Troutman, who had also appeared in Houston, joined along the way, on "Say You Will."

Then came the guests. Kid Cudi, in red, climbed the globe with Ye for "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1," and the two ran through "Ghost Town" and "Pursuit of Happiness" — a real reunion on a stadium stage for the pair behind Kids See Ghosts, after years of public distance between them. Complex captured the moment Cudi stepped out, and the building shook like it understood what it was watching.

Erykah Badu's turn was a homecoming. Dallas's own took the top of the globe for "Didn't Cha Know" and joined the show for "On & On" — the queen of neo-soul, alone above the crowd, at the biggest rap concert her city has ever hosted.

The Gamutt reported that stadium officials confirmed the night as the largest rap concert in U.S. history and the fifth-biggest concert of any kind in the country — Ye's third record break of the year. The building's own graphic said it simpler: "Most attended rap concert in US history." The exact Dallas headcount has not been published; the figure moving with the reports is more than 100,000, and it prints here as exactly that — reported.

The guest list has become the run's signature as much as the globe has. North West and Don Toliver came out at SoFi in April; Carti and North in Houston; Cudi, Badu and Troutman in Dallas. Each record night has been staged as its own event rather than a repeat of the last one, on a world tour behind his 2026 album Bully that CultureMap notes has already visited nine countries. The crowds keep answering at a scale no rapper has reached in this country before — three times in seven months, each time breaking a record that already had his name on it.

One American date is left on the run: November 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, which USA Today lists as his final scheduled U.S. stop of 2026. After Saturday night, it has a number to chase.
