You do not need a paddle, a bidder badge or a six-figure line of credit to have a great three days at Mecum Las Vegas 2026. You need $20 to $30, a Saturday circled, and a sense of which of the roughly 1,000 collector cars crossing the block are actually worth standing still for. This is the whole sale — tickets, TV, bidder math and the short list of lots that matter — in one place. And yes, the single most interesting vehicle in the building is a bus.
When, where and what it costs to walk in
Mecum Las Vegas 2026 runs Thursday, November 12 through Saturday, November 14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall (3150 Paradise Road). Gates open at 8 a.m. each day. Road Art — the signs, memorabilia and automobilia — sells from 9 to 10 a.m., and vehicles cross the block from 10 a.m. until the run is done. There is no earlier edition to copy notes from: Mecum's fall Las Vegas slot has historically been a motorcycle sale, and this is the car auction taking the weekend over.
Spectator pricing is $30 for one day or $75 for all three at the gate. Afton Tickets, Mecum's own seller, lists an advance one-day ticket at $20 if you buy before midnight on Wednesday, November 11 — note that the advance 3-day stays $75, so the early money only helps single-day visitors. Children 12 and under are free, and the gate is card-only: no cash at the door.
If you want to bid
Bidding is a different price ladder, and it is worth knowing before you fall for something on the floor. Per Mecum's current bidder registration form, registration is $200 for Standard or $500 for Gold, and every registration includes a bidder badge plus one guest pass good for all auction days. Mecum's online registration checkout does not publish its price ahead of the form — the form figures are the ones in writing. On top of the hammer price, the buyer's premium is 10% for in-person vehicle bids and 12% for phone and internet bids, with a $1,000 minimum per vehicle. Win a car at $50,000 from the floor and you are writing $55,000 before tax and transport. Budget like it.
The lot worth planning around
Lot S90, crossing Saturday: the 1954 GMC PD-4501 Scenicruiser, serial number 001 — the first production Scenicruiser ever built, in full Greyhound livery. A thousand Scenicruisers were built between 1954 and 1956, and this is number one of them: 40 feet long, two levels, panoramic upper-deck glass, designed under Raymond Loewy. Mecum's own feature calls it one of the most recognisable silhouettes in American transportation, and for once the auction-house language undersells it — the Scenicruiser is the bus that taught America what cross-country travel was supposed to look like. Mecum publishes no estimate, so there is no number to anchor on — just a room, a bus, and however many people decided they need to own the first one.
The pair with a purpose
Two of Saturday's lots are the emotional center of the sale. Angel 1 (lot S59) and Angel 2 (lot S56) are a matched pair of memorial-wrapped Camaros sold as charity lots. Per Mecum's listing, Angel 1 was blessed at Ground Zero, carries soil from the crash sites in its clear coat, and holds a Ground Zero flag in its trunk; its designated beneficiary is Toys for Tots Las Vegas. Angel 2's beneficiary is Honor Flight Southern Nevada, the organisation that flies veterans to the memorials built for them. Expect both rooms — the floor and the phones — to stop for these two.

The Saturday star run
Saturday is when the consignments Mecum itself is promoting come out. The docket placement is the verified part — the specifications and histories below are as Mecum lists them. The 1968 Ford Torino Talladega GPT Special (lot S99) is presented as the actual Furious 7 movie car. The 2020 Shelby Super Snake Widebody Convertible (lot S110) is one of 300. The 1967 Mustang Fastback (lot S113) carries an Eleanor Registry number. Around them sits a blue-chip supporting cast: a 1961 Impala SS 409 (S119), a 1969 Camaro RS/SS (S170), a 1965 Corvette (S175), a 1970 Hemi Charger R/T (S97) and a 2024 Corvette Z06 (S52).

Friday has its own sleeper: a 2005 Chevrolet SSR showing 1,833 miles (lot F67) — the retro pickup-convertible oddball, essentially unused. Two named collections anchor the weekend, the Gem State and Stevens collections, both offered at no reserve, which means everything in them sells to the last bid in the room, whatever it is.
Watch it free from anywhere
You do not have to be in the hall to follow the big lots. Mecum's Live Block Cam streams the block free on its own site all three days, no account needed. ESPN+ carries the televised window Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific — this sale is not on MotorTrend, whatever your guide app says. Mecum in the Morning streams on YouTube at 8:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday for a preview of the day's run. After the sale, results post inside Mecum's own results hub; you will need a free MyMecum account to browse them — Mecum publishes no public sold-price feed, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
The honest limits
Three things this guide cannot tell you, because Mecum does not publish them: pre-sale estimates (the docket carries none), expected attendance (no figure exists), and sold prices in advance of the results hub. Everything else above — dates, hours, prices, lot placements, broadcast windows — comes straight off Mecum's own pages and forms, checked the week of publication. If you go one day, make it Saturday: the bus, the Angels and the star run all cross within a few hours of each other, and that is the show.
