Sunday is stacked. The NFL gives you fourteen games from London to prime time, the NHL gives you three in the afternoon, SNL gives you Shane Gillis and Rosalía on demand, and Bruno Mars gives you a stadium. Here is the whole day, in order, all times Pacific.

6:30 AM PT — Eagles @ Jaguars, London (NFL Network)

Set the alarm or don't sleep. The 3-1 Jaguars open their two-week UK residency at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against the 2-2 Eagles (6:30 AM PT, NFL Network, with Dave Pasch and Kurt Warner on the call) — and Philadelphia is a mess. The Eagles have lost two straight and officially ruled out Saquon Barkley (hamstring) for Sunday after he hurt it in last week's 24-20 loss to the Rams; DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Hollywood Brown are out too. Jacksonville is a 7.5-point favorite, which tells you everything about how the books see this one. The Jaguars beat Cincinnati 22-17 last week and have lost five straight to Philadelphia dating back to 2006 — but they've never faced a version of the Eagles this banged up, who need a win to avoid dropping under .500. Jacksonville has been one of the season's pleasant surprises; Philadelphia has been one of its mysteries. Our full Week 5 Sunday preview has the matchups breakdown.

10:00 AM PT — The early NFL block (8 games)

The meat of the day. Eight games kick at once: Bengals @ Dolphins (Fox), Raiders @ Patriots (CBS), Vikings @ Saints (Fox), Browns @ Jets (CBS), Colts @ Steelers (CBS), Giants @ Commanders (Fox), Bears @ Packers (Fox) — and the weirdest one of the week, Texans @ Titans (CBS), a divisional battle between two 0-4 teams in Nashville. Somebody's leaving with their first win. The Packers-Bears rivalry game is the one with actual stakes; the rest is beautiful, chaotic red-zone-channel television.

1:05 / 1:25 PM PT — The late NFL block + NHL starts

Broncos @ Chargers (CBS, 1:05 PM) leads into the two 1:25 PM games: Lions @ Cardinals (Fox) and the game of the day, 49ers @ Seahawks (Fox). San Francisco is unbeaten. Seattle is 3-1. And it's a rematch of the divisional playoff game the Seahawks won in a rout in January on their way to a Super Bowl title. Circle it. Meanwhile the NHL's afternoon starts: Kraken @ Capitals at 2:00 PM PT — Washington (3-1-0) is going for a sweep of its three-game homestand after Friday's 3-1 win over the Rangers, with Boone Jenner scoring his first goal as a Capital.

Sunday morning — SNL: Shane Gillis / Rosalía (Peacock)

Saturday night's Saturday Night Live — the third episode of Season 52 — lands on Peacock Sunday morning. Shane Gillis hosts for the third time, and musical guest Rosalía is there promoting her album Lux (her second time as musical guest). The show aired live at 8:30 PM PT Saturday on NBC and Peacock; the full episode streams the next day. One programming note: after this episode, SNL goes dark for two weeks — the next live show isn't until the Halloween episode on October 31, when Inde Navarrette makes her hosting debut with Gracie Abrams as musical guest. So Sunday morning is your SNL fix for a while. Gillis's previous hosting turns produced some of the show's most viral sketches of the last two seasons, so this one is worth your coffee time. Our episode preview has the full rundown.

3:00 PM PT — Canucks @ Rangers (MSG)

The Rangers are right back at Madison Square Garden two days after Friday's 3-1 loss in Washington. Vancouver comes in off Saturday's game in New Jersey. Early-season Eastern Conference hockey with both teams still figuring out who they are.

4:00 PM PT — Hurricanes @ Flyers

Carolina was in Chicago on Saturday night; now it's a back-to-back in Philadelphia. The Hurricanes are one of the league's pace-setters and the Flyers are rebuilding in public — this is the "watch the contender handle business" slot of the day.

5:20 PM PT — Ravens @ Falcons, Sunday Night Football (NBC/Peacock)

The day ends in Atlanta. Baltimore on the road in prime time is appointment television, and the Falcons get the national spotlight. SNF also streams on Peacock, so cord-cutters are covered.

7:00 PM PT — Bruno Mars, night 2, Levi's Stadium

If you're in the Bay Area and going out: Bruno Mars plays the second of his two Levi's Stadium shows in Santa Clara on Sunday night, 7 PM, on The Romantic Tour — his first full headline tour in nearly a decade, supporting his fourth solo album The Romantic. The 16-time Grammy winner's tour has grown to more than 115 stadium dates worldwide. Night one was Saturday; Sunday is the encore.

Anytime — Hokum on Hulu

The spooky-season streaming pick. Hokum, NEON's Irish folk horror from Oddity director Damian McCarthy, hit Hulu on October 10. Adam Scott (Severance) stars as Ohm Bauman, a reclusive novelist who retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents' ashes and gets pulled into a witch's haunting of the honeymoon suite. Peter Coonan, David Wilmot and Florence Ordesh co-star. It made about $25 million in theaters on a $5 million budget and drew strong reviews — exactly the kind of original horror that plays great on a Sunday night. Our streaming guide has more.

And if you're planning ahead: Monday night is Bills @ Rams (5:15 PM PT, ESPN/ABC) — two preseason Super Bowl favorites, Buffalo 3-1, the Rams 2-2. But that's tomorrow's problem. Sunday has enough.

14 games: London opener 6:30 AM PT (NFL Network); 8-game block 10 AM PT; Broncos-Chargers 1:05 PM, Lions-Cardinals + 49ers-Seahawks 1:25 PM; Ravens-Falcons 5:20 PM PT (NBC/Peacock).
