- Chapter I — MW4: The Launch Briefing
Certain CoD weapons stopped being equipment and became era markers: the M4 and MP5 of the Modern Warfare years, the Intervention's quickscope culture, the Kastov line's return in the reboot era. MW4's official launch list carries the lineage forward — the M4 returns at level 14, the Kastov 762 at level 34, and new frames like the Han 86 and Hyeon Burst lead the assault-rifle class.
Maps carry the same weight — the series' great three-lane designs are quoted by every shooter since. The Vault's verified map database is still being built from official records; until a map's record set is verified, it does not get a profile page. That is a deliberate gap, not an oversight.
For working data — every MW4 launch weapon and operator with official unlocks and sources — go to the Armory. It is the single home for profiles in this Vault.
